Top Jet Boat Ladder Units

A jet boat ladder should be a mandatory item of safety gear. Jet boats are propelled by jets of water that are expelled from the back of the vessel. Unlike a motor boat or a power boat that have propellers under, or behind, a jet boat pulls water from underneath into an onboard pump and expels it through a nozzle and the back.

Jet boats are often used by police and coast guard patrols, the navy and the military. They are also used for recreational purposes like adventure tourism, fishing, racing, and other water activities. Some jet boats are small so they can be easily towed by a car or on a trailer.

Like any other sailing vessel, a jet boat ladder should always be on hand. Let's have a look at some popular options. A single-step boarding ladder that has an aluminum flip-out is very practical. With a height of around 15 inches and a width of 22 inches, it is neat and compact. It also has two dungeons with mounting holes.

Another option is a transom mount ladder. Made of stainless steel with a rubber coating, it is mounted on the transom which facilitates easy boarding. There are two mounting holes on each leg. The overall length is approximately 15 and a half inches with a width of about 11 inches. To make access even easier, the ladder has a 30 degree bend.

Then there's a 2-step ladder measuring approximately 23 inches long and 17 inches wide. The steps have different measurements - one is 11 inches and the other is just about 9 inches. For this reason, there are 2 offset mount holes on each step.

A self-retracting jet boat ladder is very popular. These are commonly found on a famous branded boat, but they can also be used universally. The ladder can be mounted on a swim platform or in a flat or vertical position on the transom with, or without, a platform. Made of stainless steel, it has a black rubber sleeve to provide maximum protection and grip.
