Werner makes a number of high quality fiberglass
step ladders, four of them in the 7300 series. This Werner step ladder 7300
series family represents some of the best in step ladder technology.
The Werner Type IAA fiberglass step ladder, for example, is at the top of the
heavy-duty range, accommodating up to 375 pounds. It has some brand new features
such as its proprietary Tool-Tra-top, made of heavy gauge material to assure its
durability and strength. This step ladder's steps are knee braced and single
riveted to resist slips. The Type IAA has internal spreaders that are heavy duty
and rail stripes to enhance the Werner 7300 series step ladder's visibility.
You can choose from four different sizes of this step ladder, either three feet
high, four feet, five feet or six feet. The price range by size is $75.40 to
$102.02. The three-foot model is approximately 19 3/4 inches wide, with a spread
of 23 1/2 inches. Its top is 7 7/8 inches by 14 inches, its front rail 3 1/8
inches wide. The steps are three inches wide, the flange 1 3/16 inches wide, and
the rear rails 1 7/8 inches wide. This three-foot ladder weights 14 pounds.
The four foot tall Werner fiberglass step ladder is about 21 1/2 inches wide,
with a spread up to 29 3/4 inches. Its top is 7 7/8 inches by 14 inches, its
front rail 3 1/8 inches wide - the same dimensions as the three-foot model. This
four-foot step ladder version is a little bit heavier, however, at 17 pounds.
The largest of the Werner step ladder 7300 series, the six-foot tall model,
weighs 24 pounds, with a width of 25 inches and a large spread of up to 42
inches.
